Meet Dr Vernon Freeman

Dr Vernon Freeman is a cardiologist who diagnoses, assesses and treats patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels at Melomed Belville. He has been with the hospital group since 2004.

Dr Freeman believes that prevention is better than cure and encourages patients to take responsibility for their health and invest in self-care and lifestyle modification before it is too late. These lifestyle changes include a healthy diet, regular exercise, regular medical check-ups and compliance to prescribed medication.
